Enter Othello, Iago, and Gentlemen.
Othello
These letters give, Iago, to the pilot
And by him do my duties to the Senate.
That done, I will be walking on the works.
Repair there to me.
Othello
(handing him papers) Give these letters to the ship's captain, Iago,
and have him carry my respects to the Senate.
Once that's done, I'll be out walking the fortifications.
Come and find me there.
Iago
Well, my good lord, I'll do 't.
Iago
Very good, my lord. I'll see to it.
Othello
This fortification, gentlemen, shall we see 't?
Othello
This fortification, gentlemen — shall we go and look at it?
Gentlemen
We wait upon your Lordship.
Gentlemen
We're at your lordship's service. (Seven lines. Othello hands his official correspondence to Iago and walks away from the house — which is precisely what Iago promised Cassio he would arrange, one scene ago.)
They exit.
